CHINESE HERBS
Chinese herbs have been studied and utilized for centuries in Asia for a multitude of ailments. They are used for prevention of symptoms and disease, to regulate the body's cycles, e.g. digestion, menstrual cycle, and reproduction, and to treat symptoms and disease both externally and internally.
In modern, Western culture, they are studied and implemented for a variety of medical issues as well. There is evidence-based support for the use of Chinese herbs for the treatment of many conditions.
The practitioner prescribes Chinese herbs in tandem with acupuncture treatment and bases all prescriptions on Chinese medical diagnosis. Only Chinese herbs that sustain rigorous testing demonstrating the highest quality and lack of heavy metals, pesticides, and/or other contaminants are prescribed. Chinese herbs can be prescribed in capsule, granule, or raw herb form (tea).
